The fluidised-bed drier is indirectly heated by a heat-exchanger. This is esp. of the straight-tube or plate type, through which a medium flows. The drier housing has at the bed chambers etc. forming heat-exchangers, and which are connected to heating circuit of the main exhanger (3), which is mounted in the bed. The medium flows through them at constant temperature, and they are insulated, particularly on the outside, to prevent radiation losses. USE/ADVANTAGE - The fluidised - bed drier is indirectly heated and prevents heat losses and unnescessary heat stresses.
