PURPOSE:To rationalize the wiring around the group of desks by setting a screen type cable installing box upright against plural desks, by pulling in floor wiring materials from the bottom and machine cables from top and by installing the cable from side to the equipment on the adjacent desk. CONSTITUTION:A screen type cable installing box 1 which stands upright with a side plate 12 is provided against plural desks D1 and D2. A cable installing duct 2 is provided between the desks D2 adjacent in the horizontal direction and supported by a stand 3 and a side plate 12. From the underside of a floor 4 at the bottom the cable installing box 1 pulls up wiring materials 5 to 7 consisting of a power cable and a signal cable and anchors them to a terminal block 18 and a plug socket 17 installed on a shelf board 16 at the top. Cable installation is performed from the terminal block 18 and the plug socket 17 to various equipment on the desk D1, while various kinds of wiring is laid to each equipment on the adjacent desk D2 through the duct 2. The wiring around the group of desks can thereby be easily laid and changed. |
