<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an economical foundation conditioner having good workability and capable of providing a great increase in strength with a small amount of use and satisfying the requirement for both short-term and long-term strength by mixing a quenched blast furnace slug, an annealed blast furnace slug, and a crushed concrete. CONSTITUTION:A foundation conditioner made by mixing a quenched blast furnace slug, an annealed blast furnace slug, a crushed concrete (preferably portions having a relatively high mortar content and a particle diameter of 2.5mm or less), and if necessary, a 1:1 mixture of cement and quick lime. In place of said cement mixture, molten iron pretreatment dust can be used to give a comparable effect more economically. When this foundation conditioner is incorporated into water-containing weak ground, both the interaction of the ingredients with each other and the various reactions between each ingredient and the fine particle component of the ground are efficiently and smoothly effected so that a foundation conditioning and solidifying effect can be exhibited.</p> |
