PURPOSE:To facilitate the installation and adjustment of switches and to reduce the cost by obtaining percussion strength information and state information on a damper only with the switches provided nearby a hammer system. CONSTITUTION:The switches 10 and 11 are provided nearby the hammer system 1 and turned on and off at the point A of time when the damper 13 begins to leave a string 14 according to the rotation of the hammer system 1, at the point B of time when the hammer system 1 rotates by a specific angle, at the point C of time when the hammer system rotates by another specific angle, and at the point D of time of the stop of sounding. An information output means 20 obtains key position information corresponding to an operated key from the outputs of the switches 10 and 11, the percussion strength information corresponding to the time between both points B and C of time from the outputs of the switches 10 and 11 at the points B and C of time, and the state information on the damper 13 having the time between the points A and D of time from the outputs of the switches 10 and 11 at both points of time. Consequently, the installation and adjustment of the switches are facilitated and the cost is reduced.
