<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an adsorbing body or sheet having a uniform compsn., uniform porosity, superior mechanical strength and adsorbing ability by bonding fine granules of optically anisotropic porous carbon having the structure of paper and adsorbing ability with a heat adhesive resin. CONSTITUTION:Microbeads of meso-carbon are activated and the resulting fine granules of optically anisotropic porous carbon having the structure of paper and adsorbing ability are bonded with a heat adhesive resin such as PE to obtain a dense molded adsorbing body or sheet having a uniform compsn., uniform porosity, high mechanical strength, superior adsorbing ability and the structure of paper and used to remove or recover various offensive odors, gases and org. solvents.</p> |
