PURPOSE:To produce high torque by setting a phase switching point in a specific section and feeding power continuously to all coils for respective phases during rotary driving of a brushless motor. CONSTITUTION:Rotary position of a rotor magnet 1 is detected then power supply is switched between coils 4a, 4b based on the detected rotary position thus rotating a brushless motor. Phase switching point is set in a section be tween {theta/phi-(theta/phi)X0.3} and {theta/phi+(theta/phiX0.3)}, more concretely to a point of theta/2, where theta is an electrical angle in such range as the electromotive force has positive value and phi is the number of phases. By such arrangement, high torque can be obtained. |
