PURPOSE:To cut and remove a product positively at a boundary from a gate by forming grooves in the surface defining a gate of a mold provided with a product ejector pin and a runner ejector pin. CONSTITUTION:A cavity 3, a gate 4 and a runner 5 are formed between molds 1 and 2. A plurality of product ejector pins 6 and a pair of runner ejector pins 7 are inserted into the movable die 2 in a manner to be movable up and down. If a plurality of grooves 20 are formed approximately parallel to the separating face of the mold at the surface defining a gate, a molten material injected into the gate 4 flows also to the grooves 20 and is hardened, so that a gate B is strictly fixed to the surface of the mold 2 defining the gate. Therefore, when the product ejector pins push up a product A to cut and separate the same at the boundary from the gate B, even if the gate B is pulled by the product A, the gate B is not off the surface defining the gate easily. As a result, the product A can be positively cut from the gate B at the boundary without breaking the middle part thereof. |
