PURPOSE:To utilize memories efficiently and to decrease the number of necessary memories by storing digital signals of external sounds in one memory on a variable length basis. CONSTITUTION:An external sound storage means 41 samples the external sounds and stores them as the variable-length digital signals. A read means 46 reads the digital signals which represent the external sounds out of the external sound storage means 41. Therefore, the digital signals of the external sounds can be stored on a variable length basis. Consequently, the memories are utilized efficiently and the number of necessary memories can be decreased. |
