PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet recorder capable of preventing the propagation of pressure variation inside liquid chambers of a liquid jet nozzle by such an arrangement wherein a liquid tank is composed of liquid chambers, a liquid flow route which is interconnected thereto, a liquid passage which is provided at an intermediate position of said liquid flow route so that it crosses said route and it is integrally moved with a liquid jet nozzle. CONSTITUTION:When a liquid tank 3 mounted on a carriage is caused to scan to the left and right, the variation of liquid pressure in No.1 and No.2 liquid chambers 16, 17 to be generated as a point of return to the left or right will be positive in one chamber and negative in the other chamber. Consequently, a difference in pressure between both ends of liquid flow route 15 is generated and flow of liquid takes place. However, the flow of liquid takes place in the direction perpendicular to a liquid passage 14, therefore the flow of liquid is not propagated to a head through the liquid passage 14 as the variation of pressure. In other words, pressure variation inside the liquid tank 3 generated by the scanning of the carriage is converted into the flow of liquid inside the liquid flow route 15, and it is possible to realize that pressure variation of liquid generated by the scanning of the carriage is hardly propagated to the head. |
