PURPOSE: To manually and easily regulate a grinding pin at the prescribed position by providing a journal device on parallel arm pairs to be interlocked with a piston cylinder to which the grinding pressure is supplied in the vertical direction during the automatic grinding operation and the auxiliary pressure is supplied during the manual operation of a grinding machine. CONSTITUTION: Parallel arm pairs 5, 7 are provided with outer and inner arm pairs 10, P respectively, and a journalling means 4 and a grinding machine 3 mounted thereon are arranged movably in the vertical and horizontal directions in a range formed by the parallel arm pairs 5, 7. A grinding pin 15 is brought at the position above a tungsten carbide button 31 to be manually ground, and at the same time, the grinding pin is moved to the position immediately above the button 31 by holding a handle 8. The parallel arm pairs 5, 7 apply the vertically downward force to the journalling means 4 and the grinding machine 3 by switching a switch 14 provided on a supply circuit of piston cylinder devices 11, 12 to be actuated by the pneumatic pressure of double action during the manual operation. |
