PURPOSE:To exhibit sufficient characteristics in a small and limited volume by coupling in series conductors passed through a through hole provided on a ferrite element body from a first surface to a second surface, connecting them with electrode surfaces formed on third and fourth surfaces respectively, and providing an insulating film on one surface forming an active electric surface. CONSTITUTION:In an impedance element 1, six through holes 3a-3f are formed in the thickness-wise direction of an angle plate-like ferrite element body 2. Through hole conductors 4 are caused to pass through each through hole 3 and to couple electrically in series with each other on front and bottom surfaces 5 and 6 of the element body 2 by a conductor pattern 7. These conductors 4 are connected with electrodes 8 provided at both end portions opposite to the element body 2 by a conductor pattern 7' respectively. In mounting the impedance element 1 on a substrate and so forth, active electric surfaces 5 and 6 of the impedance element 1 are covered with insulating film 10 so as not to cover the electrodes 8 in order to electrically insulate the impedance element 1 from an active electric part provided on the surface of the substrate. The insulating films 10 are formed by using fast-curing resin. |
