<p>PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition composed of a methacrylate monomer or the monomer and its polymer, silicon dioxide, and an organic peroxide, and capable of giving a cured article having high strength and useful as an inlay, etc. with an electronic range economically in a short time. CONSTITUTION:The objective hard resin composition for dental use and useful for the production of inlay, denture for crown and denture base, is composed of (A) 30-70(wt)% methacrylate monomer such as bisphenol A glycidyl methacrylate, (B) 0-30% methacrylate polymer such as polymethyl methacr ylate, (C) 30-70% silicon dioxide, (D) 0.3-3.5% organic peroxide such as benzoyl peroxide, and (E) 0-5% agent for the surface treatment of silicon dioxide. The composition can be cured completely and quickly with an electronic range, and gives a cured product having higher mechanical and physical proper ties than conventional composition, without lowering the beautiful appearance of the conventional composition.</p> |
