PURPOSE:To improve the positioning accuracy of a table and movable saddle by moving a tool at double speed in the horizontal direction to a work with setting the reduction gear ratio of a servomotor larger in the machine tool working a press die. CONSTITUTION:A column 3 stepping over a table 2 is made freely movable in X axial direction, a 1st movable saddle 6 and 2nd movable saddle 7 are provided freely movably in Y axial direction on a cross rail 4 and a spindle head 5 is fitted to the saddle 7 as well. Moreover, a 1st servomotor 9 moving the table 2 in X axial direction via a ball screw 8 and 2 2nd servomotor 11 moving the column 3 in X axial direction via a ball screw 10 are provided. Also, a 1st servomotor 13 moving a saddle 6 in Y axial direction to the cross rail 4 via a ball screw 12 and 2nd servomotor 15 moving a saddle 7 to the saddle 6 via a ball screw 14 are provided. |
