PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of a pad material when it foams thereby to finish a trimming board in good state by a method whereby a board and a skin are brought into tight contact with each other only in a predetermined area at ends thereof, and said pad material accommodated between said board and skin outside said predetermined area is allowed to foam and the part where said board and skin are in tight contact is bent back to the side of a reverse face of said board for fixing. CONSTITUTION:A board 1 is set in an upper mold A of an integral die. Most part of a skin 2 is placed in a recessed part of a lower mold B. A side part of the skin 2 of only a predetermined width is positioned and set at an upper face of the lower mold B. Then, a pad material 3' is injected onto the skin 2. The upper mold A is pressed onto the lower mold B, so that the board 1 and skin 2 are brought into tight contact with each other at the side part of only the predetermined width. The pad material 3' is allowed to foam except this part 5 where the board 1 and skin 2 are in contact, thereby to form a pad 3. Thus, it can be prevented that the pad material leaks outside when it is foaming. After the molding is removed from the molds A, B, the side part 5 is bent and turned back at a notch 4 which is set beforehand, and fixed to the board 1 by a tacker 6 of the like. Accordingly, a trimming board is obtained. |
