PURPOSE:To form a uniform resin layer and to improve yield and durability by providing a horizontal rotating body which applies impact force to the raw material charged in a chamber and a heating and/or cooling mechanism which adjusts the temp. in the chamber. CONSTITUTION:The impact force is applied to the raw material (e.g. electrostatic developer carrier) charged in chamber 10 by the horizontal rotating body 18. The temp. in the chamber 10 is adjusted by a heating and/or cooling mechanism 17. As a result, the mechanochemical effect is accelerated and the formation of the film at adequate temp. is possible; further, the rapid cooling is possible after the end of the film formation stage and, therefore, the coated layer carrier which is free from granulation, has excellent durability, is uniform and has a high coating rate is produced. |
