PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy and to reduce the weight, the size and the thickness of a brushless motor by forming a frequency signal generating coil on one face of a circular or circumscribed square printedboard having approximately identical outer diameter to that of a rotor and mounting a drive control circuit comprising a dual line single chip integration circuit on the opposite face. CONSTITUTION:A driving/controlling integrated circuit(IC) 11 is mounted on the rear face of FG coil 20 in a printedboard 8. The IC 11 is a DIP-shrink type IC and a portion of its terminal 110 is formed so that the IC 11 can be mounted on the surface. Other parts constituting a drive/control circuit are mounted on other sections of the printedboard 8. By such arrangement, brushless motor can be made compact and speed signal can be detected accurately with reduced space. |
