PURPOSE:To extremely facilitate adjustment of chamfering angle by adjusting positioning of swivel heads, when the chamfering angle of a tooth flank is changed in the spindle head device of a two-shaft type cutter in a chamfering device of gear end face for a spur gear and the like. CONSTITUTION:In this device, two cutter shafts 15 having chamfering cutters CT1, CT2 are provided on the extreme end of a spindle head main body 4. The cutter shafts 15 are rotatably journaled respectively on correspondings swivel heads 12a, 12b, these swivel heads 12a, 12b and the spindle head main body 4 are respectively rotatably engaged through circular are guide parts 11, 13 formed centering around the extreme end parts of the chamfering cutters CT1, CT2. Further, a position fixing device for rotating positions of these swivel heads 12 is provided. Consequently, when the chamfering angle on the right and left tooth flank is changed, the position fixing device is released, the swivel heads 12a, 12b are guided through the circular are guide faces 11, 13, and the positioning is adjusted. |
