PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. providing a molded item such as fiber or film with excellent durability of anti-static property, sweat-absorbing prop erty, stain resistance, etc., by compounding an arom. polyester with a specified polyglycerin polyether compd. in a specified amt. CONSTITUTION:A polyester compsn. is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. arom polyester (a) (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate) with 0.2-30 pts.wt. polyglycerin polyether compd. of formula I (wherein X is H, a hydrocarbon group or an acyl; A is a 2-4C alkylene; m is 30-500; n is 2-6) (e.g. formula II). Fibers, sheets, etc., obtd. form this polyester compsn. undergo no deterioration of anti-static property, sweat-absorbing property, stain resistance, etc., after repeated washing and heat-treatment such as ironing, pressing, etc., and are suitably used for manufacturing uniforms, working clothes worn in various working places. |
