PURPOSE:To always obtain a satisfactory tracking state by providing a means which adjusts the angle formed between the beam spot string, which a multibeam light source forms on a recording medium, and a tracking groove on the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Multibeams emitted from a laser LED 10 are converted to parallel rays by a collimator lens 13 and are reflected on a mirror 14 to form a beam spot string B on a disk D. When a wedge-shaped adjusting tool 16 is moved right or left by an adjusting knob 17 at such a time, a holding tool 12 is rotated as one body together with the LED 10 and a package 11 with the optical axis as the center by cooperation with a spring 18. Consequently, since the spot string B is rotated, the angle of inclination to the tracking groove, namely, the pitch of multitracks is finely adjusted. Thus, the beam spot projected on the disk is accurately matched to the track pitch. |
