PURPOSE:To prevent dragging phenomenon from occurring by rapidly discharging oil from a low speed engagement element by opening an oil discharge control valve in linked motion with a switching operation of a manual valve for disconnecting an oil passage from an oil pressure source. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle stops and stands with a manual valve 9 in an operation position for forward movement, a second shift valve 102 is in a down shift position and supplies oil to a low speed hydraulic engagement element. When the manual valve 9 is switched to the position N, etc. for disconnecting an oil passage L2 from an oil pressure source, the shift valve 102 is switched to an up shift position, and the low speed hydraulic engagement element is connected to an oil discharge passage LD1 with an oil discharge control valve 181 interposed in between. Because the oil discharge control valve 181 is opened in linked motion with the switching operation of the manual valve 9, oil is rapidly discharged from the low speed hydraulic engagement element. Thus the dragging phenomenon of the low speed hydraulic engagement element can be prevented only by additional connection of an oil passage L23 to the manual valve. |
