PURPOSE:To prepare an accurate calibration curve by spotting a reference liquid for calibration on a reference inspection object and an object to be inspected to determine a characteristic value for calibration. CONSTITUTION:A reference liquid for calibration such as a body fluid of animal with characteristic constant and adjusted in components is prepared and spotted on a reference test film to determine an optical reflection density D1 with a reference analyzer. Then, a reference liquid for calibration is spotted on an object test film to determine an optical reflection density D2 with the reference analyzer. A ratio of D2/D1 is recorded on a wound cassette 16 of the object test film in a bar code 16c as characteristic value per lot to be provided to a user. Then, when the user sets the object test film on an analyzer, the bar code 16c is read out, a calibration curve calibrating circuit 73 inputs the characteristic value and a reference calibration curve (solid line) inputted from a calibration memory means 74 is multiplied by the ratio D2/D1 to determine a calibration curve (broken line), which is inputted into a material density computing circuit 72. Thus, it is suffice to use only one kind of reference liquid for calibration and moreover, accuracy of calibration can be maintained. |
