PURPOSE:To obtain a reproduction signal which is small in waveform distortion by intensifying the recording power with an increase in the mark length to be recorded in such a manner that the second harmonic wave distortion is minimized in case of reproducing the signal from the mark of the signal to be recorded according to the change in the mark length. CONSTITUTION:The waveform of the recording mark (b) is slightly pointed at the front end and is rounded bold at the final end in case of executing recording of general information by irradiating the surface of an optical disk with the pulse laser waveform (a) of pulse laser light. The waveform of the recording mark (b) is determined by the balance of the arrival time of this laser waveform (a) and the cooling temp. and the reproduced waveform (c) is obtd. when the information is reproduced optically from the recording mark (b) of this shape. The waveform distortion dependent upon the recording laser power, linear speed and the size of the recording mark, etc., is thus generated. The recording power is intensified with an increase in the mark length to be recorded in order to decrease the distortion, by which the waveform (a) of the recording laser output is formed and the shape (b) of the recording mark having the small distortion of the reproducing waveform is obtd. |
