PURPOSE:To improve installing accuracy in the case of a rotary body fixing tool for fitting a shaft clamping body having a slit in the direction of a shaft line to a boss clamping body with tapered faces by bending a band-shaped body with cross section close to the cross section of each clamping body by rollers. CONSTITUTION:A recessed groove 11 is formed on the central top part of a trapezoid-shaped shaft clamping body 1. The inclination of slops K of a band- shaped body F is designed to be smaller than that of tapered faces T. The band-shaped body drawn out from a coil-shaped body is straightened through a roller leveler, and is cut slightly smaller than the circumference of the shaft clamping body 1, and burrs are removed. Then, a roll bending device provided with a pair of lower roller 51 and upper roller 52 having ring shaped recessed part is used. The cross section of the lower roller 51 conforms to the cross section of the outer peripheral side of the shaft clamping body 1, and the upper roller 52 has a smooth surface. When the band-shaped body cut into a regular size is inserted, a shaft clamping body with good clamping ability can be obtained. |
