PURPOSE:To permit estimation of the amount of NOx, CO and smoke dust and to detect abnormality of a burner by a method wherein a spectrum, radiated by combustion constituent including into a flame, is separated to two kinds of wave length or more to be effected a spectrometry. CONSTITUTION:Light of a flame 3 is collected from a light probe 4 and is led to a spectroscope 6 using a diffraction grating through an optical fiber 5 to be effected the spectral analysis for a brightness 7 of respective wave length. Then are changed to an electric signal by a photoelectric transfer 8 respectively and the result 11 of the diagnosis is outputted by using a computer 10. Here, they are radiated at two wave length and substance under standing the relation of an absorbing coefficient for the respective wave length becomes the standard substance while one thereof is measured by two wave length, thereafter, the temperature of the flame and an emission rate of the substance are obtained by analizing of the brightness. The combustion condition of the flame may be diagnosed compared with an indication showing the combustion condition obtained previously. |
