PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for providing a cooling line to be exclusively used and to reduce an initial cost by providing an aperture which can be freely opened and closed by a shielding body to a cooling member side wall so that blast cooling, natural cooling and slow cooling can be executed in the same line. CONSTITUTION:A hot rolled wire is coiled by a poling type coiler, etc. The coiled wire coil 2 is conveyed to the cooling chamber 6 provided with the aperture 10. The aperture 10 is made freely openable and closable by the shielding body 10a and the coil 2 is blast-cooled. The blast cooling, natural cooling and slow cooling are executed by combining such blast cooler, by which three coolings are executed in one line. |
