PURPOSE:To attain the effective utilization of a radio channel by setting part or all of an idle communication channel as a call control channel when any idle communication channel exists. CONSTITUTION:In the case of making an outgoing or an incoming call through the use of a common control channel, when an idle communication channel exists, part or all the channel is used as a call control channel, and when no idle communication channel exists, the call control channel is not provided and the call control is interrupted. For example, idle communication channels exist as shown in figure (b), channels 7b, 7c, 8b, 8c are set as the call control channel in all the channels and when all communication channels 9b-9e and 10b-10g are busy as shown in figure (c), since no channel to be assigned to the communication exists even with the reception of an outgoing/incoming signal, no outgoing/incoming control is required. Thus, the utilizing effect of the radio channels is enhanced. |
