COLOR IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PURPOSE:To improve sharpness and the reproducibility of dot images approximate to the reproducibility of printed matter by incorporating water soluble dyes into photograph constituting layers and combining a color photosensitive material which is specific in reflection density before development processing and parallel light exposing. CONSTITUTION:The water soluble dyes are added into the photosensitive emulsion layers of the color photosensitive material before the development processing thereof at the ratio at which the reflection density at least at one max. photosensitive wavelength attains >=0.3 as the amt. of the dyes to be used. The reflection density at the max. wavelength required for magenta or cyan color formation is particularly preferable. The water soluble dyes are incorporated into photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers and/or nonphotosensitive layers. The reflection density at the max. photosensitive wavelength of at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layers of the color photosensitive material to be used is adjusted in the system for exposing with collimated beams of light in such a manner. The excellent sharpness of the images is obtd. in this way and the color images excellent in the dot reproducibility, more particularly small dot reproducibility and large dot reproducibility extremely approximated to the reproducibility of printed matter when exposing is executed by using the sepn. dot originals are obtd. in this way.
