PURPOSE:To improve magnetic characteristics, molding property and dimensional stability by using the mixture of carboxylic acid amide incorporating hydroxyl group, N<omega> and long-chain acyl basic amino acid as a lubricant in a composition for plastic magnet incorporating nylon, magnetic powder and lubricant. CONSTITUTION:As a lubricant which is added into nylon and magnetic powder, the mixture of carboxylic acid amide incorporating hydroxyl group and N<omega>-long- chain acyl basic amino acid is used. As the carboxylic acid amide incorporating hydroxyl group, hydroxymonocarboxylic acid amide (e.g. hydroxystearic acid amide, alpha-hydroxyisocaproin acid amide, alpha-hydroxylauric acid amide and the like) is desirable. As the N<omega>-long-chain acyl basic amino acid, a compound expressed by the formula is desirable. The amount of use of the carboxylic acid amide incorporating hydroxyl group is 0.5-1.5wt.% for the total composition. The amount of use of the N<omega>-long-chain acyl basic amino acid is 0.5-1.0wt.% for the total composition. When the two kinds of the lubricants are used in this way, the plastic magnet characterized by excellent magnetic characteristics, molding property and dimensional stability is obtained. |
