<p>PURPOSE:To perform correct judgement even in the case where a moving image is judged erroneously as a still picture in a conventional motion detection circuit by providing a polarity judging circuit to cheek the polarity of a remarked picture element, a picture element of preceding 262 lines, and the picture element of one preceding frame. CONSTITUTION:The circuit is constituted of a 262H delay 2 to perform delay of 262 lines, a 263H delay 3 to perform delay of 263 lines, the polarity judging circuit 4, an adder 5, a frame memory 6, a subtractor 7, an absolute value circuit 8, a threshold value circuit 9, an AND circuit 10, an OR circuit 11, and a smoothing circuit 12. And at the polarity judging circuit 4, the phases of three sampling points; a remarked sampling point, the sampling point of a preceding field, and that of the preceding frame are checked. Thereby, it is possible to prevent erroneous judgement from being performed even in the case where the image is judged as the picture by a conventional detecting method in spite that it is the moving image.</p> |
