The laminate is clamped firmly between the two parts of a robot container holder, and then the joints between the holder parts and between. the laminate and the holder are ultra-sound welded. The clamping of the laminate before ultra-sound welding is achieved by the two parts of the holder having male and female parts. The laminate is placed on the bottom of the female part before the male part is inserted into the latter as far as a cohesive line where the laminate edges located against it. The holder is made of plastic with a lower melting point than the polytetrafluoroethylene layer of the laminate. - The female part of the holder has a hollowed-out formation with a flat inner botton surface, whilst the male part is formed with a matching flat end surface through the centre of which through apertures are formed. |
