<p>PURPOSE:To prevent residing and normal sheets from being mixed with each other by providing a failure detecting means and discarding residing sheets from a sheet exposing port in the case the occurrence of failure is detected. CONSTITUTION:First, a single-sided recording action or a double-sided recording action is selected, and a paper feeding sensor 16 is checked whether or not it detects the sheet S. If so, the operation is in a recording action enable state. In the case the failure detecting means detects the failure which results in the interruption of the recording action, the picture recorder fails the recording action. Even if the sheet S on which a picture is currently recorded has to be ejected from a sheet eject port 21 via a carrying path E, a flapper 17 is pointed toward a double-sided sheet carrying path B. A residing sheet is fed to a paper eject tray 11 from the sheet exposing port 20, and can be discarded under the normal rotation of a turning-over roller 9 without mixing with a normal sheet.</p> |
