<p>PURPOSE:To form a faithful image on a transfer recoding medium corresponding to an image signal and to record a sharp image by applying two or more kinds of energies to the transfer recording medium to form a image in a recoding part and transferring the image to a medium to be recorded in a transfer part. CONSTITUTION:A motor is driven to successively deliver a transfer recording medium 1 from a supply roll 2, and light and heat are applied to the transfer recording layer 1b of the transfer recoding medium 1 corresponding to an image signal in a recoding part 3 to form an image. When light having a predetermined wavelength and heat are applied to the transfer recoding layer 1b, the softening point of said recording layer 1b rises, that is, the transfer characteristics thereof are changed irreversibly and no image is transferred to recording paper. In recoding a magenta color, a current is supplied to the heating element 3b corresponding to an image signal of a complementary color of magenta, that is, an image signal of a green color in a heating element row and, at the same time, a light source 3g is allowed to light. By controlling the heating of the heating element 3b corresponding to an image signal of a complementary color of each of magenta, cyan and yellow, the rotation of a rotary body 3c and the lighting of the light source 3g, a transfer image is formed to the transfer recoding layer 1b and the transfer recoding medium is fed at a repeating cycle in synchronous relation to the formation of said image.</p> |
