PURPOSE:To enhance the accel operating sense of a driver by outputting positively a synthetic sound whose frequency characteristic is controlled variably corresponding to the rotating speed of an engine and a load on the engine to a vehicle room. CONSTITUTION:The rotating speed of the engine 10 and the opening degree information of an accel 23 are used to estimate the state of the engine 10, and an actual load on the engine and a response state are estimated from torque characteristic stored in advance based on those information, and accordingly, room offset sound or enhancing sound most suitable for an operating state is issued from signal information stored in advance, and it is outputted from a speaker 21. Simultaneously, change is supplied on the sound volume and sound quality of the offset sound (enhancing sound) generated corresponding to difference between the manipulated variable of the accel and the change of the rotating speed of the engine. In such a way, it is possible to enhance the operating sense of the driver. |
