PURPOSE:To change rolls safely and efficiently by clamping both end parts of each roll detouchably, carrying them in and out and moving the roll clamping mechanism of a roll change track to the roll change position. CONSTITUTION:A roll change mechanism 50 for removing and inserting the thread roll 30 is equipped near the calender roll 20. The guide roll 30 is run for itself through the guide rail device 100, a roll change track 150 is moved near the end part of the device 100. The roll change mechanism 50 clamps both ends of the roll 30 detouchably, carries them into or out of the specified position and roll clamp mechanisms 160, 170 are installed on the roll change track 150 to clamp the arbor parts of both ends of the roll 30. |
