<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a wet wiping sheet having a functional component concentrated to the part near the surface of a sheet and enabling controlled release of the component by applying polymer beads containing hydrophobic functional component to a porous sheet impregnated with an aqueous lotion. CONSTITUTION: A porous sheet such as cellulose fiber web is impregnated with water or an aqueous lotion. Polymer beads produced by embedding, applying or including an active component in a polymer matrix or capsule are applied to the porous sheet before or after impregnation treatment to obtain a wet wiping sheet containing the active component concentrated near the surface part of the sheet. The sheet is wet with water before use and pressed against the skin or a surface or rubbed to the skin, etc., to enable the release of an active amount of the active component over a prescribed period.</p> |
