PURPOSE:To obtain good image quality free from after images and out-of-focus images regardless of environmental conditions by using the developer obtd. by mixing a carrier material consisting of particles obtd. by dispersing and mixing magnetic powder into a resin and pulverizing the mixture, a toner material and hydrophobic silica particles of a specific ratio of the toner material. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 1 is disposed successively, on its periphery, with a charger 2 which uniformly charges the peripheral surface 1a of the drum 1, a liquid crystal recording head 3 which forms electrostatic latent images, a developing device 4 which applies the toner to the latent images to develop the images to sensible images and a transfer device 5 which transfers the toner images, by which the image forming process is constituted without cleaning. The developer prepd. by mixing the carrier material consisting of the particles obtd. by dispersing and mixing the magnetic powder into the resin and pulverizing the mixture, the toner material and the hydrophobic silica particles of 0.5 to 2wt.% of the toner material is used in this image forming method of the cleaning less system. The good images which are free from the after images, out-of-focus images, etc., are stably obtd. in this way. |
