PURPOSE:To make the winding speed always constant, by leading a roving fed from a drafting part to a roving guide arm provided on a rotating tool rotating passively near the outer periphery of a bobbin, forming a balloon between the drafting part and the roving guide arm, and winding the roving around the bobbin. CONSTITUTION:A bobbin rotating spindle 7 is provided on a bobbin rail 3 positively rising and lowering along guide rails (1a), and supporting rails 12 are fixed above the bobbin rail 3 parallel to the bobbin rail 3, and an annular rotating ring 20 having a diameter somewhat larger than the diameter of a full packaged bobbin is provided on the supporting rails 12 coaxialy with the bobbin rotating spindle 7. A roving guide arm 21 is mounted on the annular rotating ring 20. The bobbin rotating spindle 7 is rotated, and a roving fed from a drafting part 2 is led to the roving guide arm 21 while raising and lowering slowly the bobbin rail 3, and then wound arond a bobbin (B). Thus, the roving guide arm 21 is passively rotated by the tension of the roving, which is ballooned between the drafting part 2 and the roving guide arm 21 and twisted. |
