摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title compound having antistatic properties in high selectivity by reacting an aliphatic nitrile in the presence of a hydrogenating catalyst containing copper and a metallic element selected manganese, etc., in a specific ratio under a given condition while removing formed ammonia. CONSTITUTION:A hydrogenating catalyst containing (A) copper, (B) one or more metallic elements selected from manganese, iron, cobalt, nickel and zinc in the weight ratio of the metal A/B of (99/1)-(10/90) and further (C) an alkali or alkaline earth metal in the ratio of A/C:(1/1)-(100/1) is used and 8-24C aliphatic nitrile is reacted at 150-250 deg.C, preferably 180-230 deg.C under atmospheric pressure - 50atm. (gauge pressure), preferably 5-30atm. while removing formed ammonia to give the aimed compound.</p>
