PURPOSE:To increase the area of a passage and facilitate machining by forming the upper course side member of the bypass of a throttle valve integrally with a throttle body while forming the lower course side member thereof integrally with an intake manifold and forming a square passage. CONSTITUTION:A main flow passage 2 and a sub-flow passage 3 are provided on a throttle body 1 and the throttle port 9 of the main flow passage is formed in the vicinity of the sub-flow passage outlet 8. The inlet of an IAC (idling air control) passage is opened on the upper course side of a throttle valve 10 and the outlet of the IAC passage is opened while providing an IAC valve on the lower course side thereof. The upper course side of the lower course side opening portion of the IAC passage is formed with the groove 28 on the underside of the throttle body 1 while forming the lower course wide with the top face of an intake manifold 29, and the sectional area of the idling air passage outlet which is formed in a square shape can be made larger than one having a circular shape. Also, the outlet shape can be obtained by die- casting as is cast out without requiring machining while lower a cost. |
