PURPOSE:To accurately apply printing to a strip like printing recording medium and to simply form a label of arbitray content by providing a ribbon cassette and the strip like printing and recording medium in a freely detachable manner and providing a printing recording medium feed apparatus for feeding out the strip like printing recoding medium at a constant speed. CONSTITUTION:A strip like printing recording medium 33 is mounted on a printer 23 and formed, for example, by laminating a strip like protective member, for example, strip like paper or plastic film subjected to releasable treatment to strip like printing paper or plastic film having an adhesive applied to the rear thereof and wound in a cylindrical shape. The strip like printing recoding medium 33 is held in a revolvable manner within a printing mechanism 25 and the leading end thereof is fed out at a constant speed by a recoding medium feed apparatus 26 having a medium running motor built therein. In this case, the recording medium feed apparatus 26 and the strip like printing recoding medium 33 are arranged in opposed relationship so as to interpose a printing head 28 therebetween and the recoding surface of the printing recording medium 33 fed out by the recoding medium feed apparatus 26 runs along the front surface of the printing head 28 through an ink ribbon 32. |
