摘要 PURPOSE:To make level control performable even at time of engine stoppage by controlling the feed or stop of a fluid to or from a fluid cylinder on the basis of an accumulating value of an accumulator which feeds a hydraulic chamber of the fluid cylinder with the fluid via a flow control valve for suspension characteristic variable use. CONSTITUTION:Each fluid cylinder 3 is set up in space between symmetrical front and rear wheels and a car body 1, and each hydraulic chamber 5g of gas springs 5 is interconnected to to each hydraulic chamber 3c of these fluid cylinders 3. A fluid out of a hydraulic pump 8 is controlled to feed or exhaust to or from each interconnecting passage 4 via a hydraulic pipeline 10 and each flow control valve 9, through which a suspension characteristic is variably controlled. In this case, a small capacity accumulator (unillustrated herein) is installed at the discharge side of the hydraulic pump 8, while there is provided with a detecting means detecting the accumulating value. When the accumulating value is less than a first limited value at time of vehicle running as well as when it is in a second limited value (<the first limited value) at time of engine stopping, the control valve 9 is controlled to feed or stop the fluid to or from the hydraulic chambers 3c.
