PURPOSE:To increase an intrinsic shafting value and reduce the discharge of refrigerating machine oil to the outside without degrading the performance and reliability by providing a cavity in an iron core of a rotor to extend therethrough with the upper side end closed and the lower side end opened to the outside of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:An iron core 10 of a rotor 4 is provided with a cavity 17 extending through the whole length of the iron core 10 and having the upper side end closed by a closing plate 18 and the lower side end communicating to a space below the rotor 4. Thus, the intrinsic shafting value can be increased and the discharge of refrigerating machine oil to the outside can be reduced to improve the performance of a refrigerator without degrading the performance of a motor and the reliability of a bearing. |
