PURPOSE:To continuously efficiently manufacture a long product by generating high pressure by a contact frictional resistance between the inner face of a groove and a light weight member, supplying a high pressure light weight member to an extrusion chamber, continuously supplying a wear resistant member to the extrusion chamber, and integrating it with the light weight member. CONSTITUTION:Powder of Al, Al alloy, etc. or mixture powder 4 of the powder and short fiber whisker, etc. is continuously supplied as a light weight member into a groove 1 by a hopper 5 provided in the opening of the groove 1 of a rotary wheel 1, the mixture powder 4 is introduced into a passage formed of the groove 1 and the protrusion of a stationary shoe block 3 by means of contact frictional resistance to the inner surface of the groove, and high pressure is generated to feed the high pressure light weight member 7 into an extrusion chamber 6 formed in a stationary shoe block 3 communicating with the passage via an inlet passage. A wear resistant member 8 is heated to a predetermined temperature, continuously supplied to the extrusion chamber 6 and integrated with the light weight member 7. |
