The group control appts. includes a number of main stations each for performing a hall call registration of an elevator cage. One of the main stations serves as a master main station for governing the hall call registration of the elevator cage. Another of the main stations serves as a slave main station which is supplied from the master main station. An address signal is used for receiving hall call data indicating the hall call registration. A number of floor remote stations are arranged in elevator halls of respective floors in a building in which elevators are installed. Theses generate the hall call data which calls the elevator cage, and perform a call display of the elevator cage.
