The shaver with a battery life alarm is drived by turning on a first switch (4) connected to a motor (1) in series. When the battery voltage drops to a certain level, a voltage detector (10) provides the detected signal to the first switch to turn off and the motor is driven with low speed by providing the current through a voltage droppers (5, 16). When a second switch (6) is turned on, the motor is driven by the rest power of the battery so that the user can realise the battery areak state by the low speed of the motor.
