PURPOSE:To reliably prevent the duplicated feeding of bills by providing a pressure sensor on a friction member provided on a friction block. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sensor 12 detecting the contact pressure between a friction member 11 and bills 3 is provided on the friction member 11 on a friction block 8 applying a friction force to the bills 3 to separate them one by one. Accordingly, if two or more sheets of the bills 3 tend to pass through the gap, it can be reliably detected via an increase of the contact pressure, thus the duplicated feeding of the bills 3 can be reliably prevented. |
