<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an erroneous operation by an optical function and to externally display the state of an internal circuit by disposing electrochromic element above a chip by the application of a voltage. CONSTITUTION:An electrochromic(EC) element 14 is varied in a coloring state or a transparent state by applying a voltage to an electrode 16. Even after the application of the voltage to the EC element 14 is released, the EC element 14 hold to store the coloring or transparent state. Accordingly, the EC element 14 colored with a color corresponding to the wavelength of a light which affects an optical function to an internal circuit on a chip 2 is employed to eliminate the optical function to the internal circuit. The control circuit 19 of the EC element 14 is added to the internal circuit 18 to display the state of the circuit 18.</p> |
