PURPOSE:To inhibit the vibrations of a medium driven by a driving means accurately by a low-cost mechanical mechanism by varying slow-up completion time in response to target speed. CONSTITUTION:A data memory separately storing time data for rising a stepping motor to a plurality of target speed at every target speed and a slow-up selecting means selecting one time data from the data memory in response to each target speed set and independently setting the time data to a drive control circuit are provided. A slow-up characteristic curve can be changed in response to the target speed of the stepping motor, and vibrations at the time of the start of an optical scanning unit can be inhibited by a comparatively simple mechanical mechanism and at a short preparation distance in a copier, etc. |
