PURPOSE:To make possible ink supply and ink leak prevention by an ordinary tubular member connection method by providing an annular ultrasound generation device which generates an ultrasound in a diametral direction by vibration while allowing ink passage, on one side of the main unit of a printing head. CONSTITUTION:Ink supplied from an ink supply pipe 46 flows into the ink flow path 8 of the main unit 7 of a printing head through an aperture 45 in a housing 37, an ink flow path 44, a recessed part 43 and an aperture 40. Next, this ink is ejected in the form of a jet stream from nozzles 9,9... provided on the main unit 7 of the printing head, and the ejected ink is separated into ink droplets D due to the progressive wave of an ultrasound transmitted from an ultrasound oscillator 10. Consequently, it is possible to employ O rings 16,23 and clamping nuts 19,26 by an ordinary tubular member connection method, and therefore, ensure easy ink supply and ink leak prevention. |
