PURPOSE:To form an image exhibited even in a dark place, on a layer having a phosphorescent pigment, by the transfer of a coloring material by heating by a thermal head or the like, by providing a reception layer receiving the coloring material on a substrate and by making the phosphorescent pigment be contained therein. CONSTITUTION:An image-receiving body 10 is formed of a substrate 1 the whole of which contains a phosphorescent pigment, and of a reception layer 2 which is provided on one surface of the substrate and receives a coloring material transferred from a coloring material ink layer of a thermal transfer recording sheet. The thermal transfer recording sheet 11 having the hot-melt or subliming coloring material 4 on a substrate 5 and the image-receiving body 10 having the reception layer 2 on the substrate 1 and containing the phosphorescent pigment are superposed and brought into pressure contact by a thermal head 6 and a platen roller 7 while heated by the thermal head 6, and thereby the coloring material of the heated thermal transfer recording sheet 11 is transferred onto the reception layer 2 of the image- receiving body having the phosphorescent pigment. The image-receiving body 10 for thermal transfer emits a light in the night or in a dark place, since it has the phosphorescent pigment. The light emission is held down in a part whereon the coloring material layer is transferred from the thermal transfer recording sheet by heating by the thermal head or the like, i.e. a part wherein the image is formed, and thus the image being discernible even in the dark place is formed. |
